NOTE: Marda Group is a “three-element” company”.
- The first element was to purchase apartment buildings for the purpose of condominium conversion.
- The second element was to manage the rental tenants who lived in the apartments throughout the condominium conversion process. This involved tenant move-in / move-out, inspections, maintenance service request coordination and approval of supplier / sub-trade invoices. Also responsible for advertising, rental inquiries, booking appointments to show properties, rental applications, leasing agreements and collecting rents. Required to be on call 24 hours a day - 7 days a week for emergency services that may be required by the rental tenants.
- The third element was to renovate and upgrade the individual condos and market them for sale. This included re-design of the kitchen area (knock-down walls etc electrical and plumbing upgrades, new kitchen and bath cabinetry, countertops and appliances / fixtures. Overall renovation of the suites including new flooring, paint and window drapes/blinds.
5 condo buildings completed including suite renovations, roof repairs, boiler/hot-water tank replacement, common area suite door and flooring upgrades, window replacement, exterior doors, facade and balcony upgrades, landscaping, fencing and paving.
