Operations Manager at Reynaers, Inc. Hired to open the new fabrication plant in Phoenix, AZ. Negotiated various activities such as lease rates, municipal permits, and large equipment acquisitions. I was responsible for hiring a CFO, logistics personal and direct employees. This was a ground up operation that went from plan to full production in less than 6 month. Our 30,000 sqft plant required negotiations with everything from electricians to cleaning services.

Establish a procurement team to source suppliers on an international basis to supply electronics, machined parts, wiring harnesses, and magnetics for the assembly and construction of thin film plasma coaters. Responsible for screening and interview new suppliers that meet or exceed detailed quality control requirements. Established metrics to analyze supplier deliverables and benchmarks to determine compliance to performance standards. Responsible for departmental P&L, employee performance reviews, hiring, and training new employees.
Operations Manager April 2014 – April 2015
Reynaers, Inc. Phoenix, Arizona
Directly involved with start up manufacturing plant for the first North American based location for Reynaers, Belgium. Negotiated lease rates on new plant location, worked with the City of Phoenix on all permits, established on site inspection permits for UL certification on equipment purchased from international locations, set up supplier contracts, hired all operating personal, established sales policies, dealer agreements and commission contracts for outside sale force. Started with one employee and today have over thirty.

Oversee daily operations of a $15M door manufacturer with 135 employees. Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing, including receipt of raw material to product delivery. Coordinate and drive various manufacturing departments to achieve a common goal. Oversee the financial, HR, information technology, purchasing, CAD, product development and manufacturing functions. Develop budgets, records, material purchasing, and contract negotiations. Supervise capital and engineering projects, warehouse operations, safety and quality programs. Directly responsible for the integration of a new product line, stainless steel doors and windows. This effort required a complete remodel of a former production line to a reengineered production line. This effort required installation and training for modernized production processes.

Responsible for many changes that resulted in increases in efficiencies in quality and production. Various titles included, Production Planner, Shipping Manager, Physical Inventory Manager, Purchasing Manager and Assistant to IT Manager.

Project director to coordinate, train and install the new ERP software onto an IBM AS/400 system.
Responsibilities include training employees and working with IT development staff in order to create Sales Order Entry software that will allow custom door and window configurations. Project lead to coordinate the efforts of the Financial Department, Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing with the objective to fully utilize and implement new ERP software.
