Title : Energy Efficient Cluster Based Routing Protocol for WSNs

Proposed Protocol : SP-LEACH

In this work, we have made an attempt to propose and develop a novel routing protocol which assures energy efficient data transfer in WSNs. An improvement of LEACH protocol has been done, named SP-LEACH, by considering the threshold in terms of residual energy amongst nodes. A network simulator NS 2.34 is used for the validation of the algorithm proposed. The proposed SP-LEACH showed on improvement of 27.64% in energy efficiency over the traditional LEACH.
