Director of Information Technology (Hands-On Systems Administrator/Engineer Supervising 1-2 Employees)

Actively managed (documenting with Viso, Excel, and Word), all aspects of computer and network infrastructure across South Carolina (WAN included 6 LANs). Secured WAN using SonicWALL Firewall, Windows Group Policy configurations, and multiple Active Directory features such as Rights and Privileges. Fully integrated Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, becoming familiar with PowerShell. Effectively used MS Word and MS Excel to prepare annual IT budget, including Hardware, Software, Maintenance, Upgrades & Refreshes, and Service Contracts. Personally built and maintained Microsoft Servers 2003 & 2008R2 & 2012R2, and EqualLogic SANs, as well as remaining network infrastructure, using MS Visio to document the network topology. Strategically evaluated, tested and implemented departmental specific client/server applications for accounting, fund raising, sales and marketing, and medical records management. Edited and otherwise contributed to communal documents created with MS Project. While not a true Matrixed Environment, PCSC projects required me to report to multiple “inside” management as well as report to, and solicit input from, multiple “outside” vendors, in order to coordinate materials and resource delivery and final outcomes. Selected Achievements:

Received 2013 Spirit of Innovation Award in Automation & Technology from Lincoln Healthcare Group

Successfully directed and managed a vital 15 month, $1.2 Million, infrastructure project by re-designing network topology, IP schema, and adding Cisco CleanAir Wireless Technology to the entire network. Managed entire project using standardized SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) and ITIL (standardized “Best Practices” for Information Technology) methodologies. All vendors involved complimented the detailed Excel charts and professional email communications.

Achieved 100% virtualization starting with VMware ESXi on Microsoft 2003 Servers and moving to Hyper-V on Microsoft Server 2008R2, then 2012R2.
