Initiated the idea of breaking down annual equipment PM (preventative Maintenance) to 4 quarterly ones, thus decreasing PM time from 48 consecutive hours to 4 6-hour sessions. This also decreased the need for post PM troubleshooting, since each session was fully executed by a single shift, without a shift change in between.
Co-led the “Skip” project - this decreased number of visual quality inspections required by 90% - and the number of technicians and operators required to perform those inspections.
Cooperated with a team on development and implementation of the “Rework on tool” project, which saved the plant over $80K annually, by creating an alternative reworking process for non-standard wafers.
