Casting process Intern China FAW Group 06/2011-08/2011

Drafted 2D drawing and used AutoCAD to make detail design of CB01 gear pump and KCB gear pump, including component and assembly drawings.

Hands-on studied the casting process of KCB gear pump and operated the process simulation with the guidance of Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Summarized the possible causes of defects: shrinkage cavity, sonim, slag inclusion, stomatal dispersed shrinkage to report to management team.

Proposed the fix for the things-go-wrong in conventional automotive manufacturing process to improve quality and reduce scrap rate.

Won the award of excellent intern by China FAW Group.

Design of Guard Shed for Bicycles Jilin University 02/2012-05/2012

Supported by: Innovation Design Committee

Managed a four person design team that worked with professors in our college, to design, test, and further optimize a new rack for the bicycle, named rotary rack.

Drafted 3D drawing and used CATIA to get the model of rotary rack.

Presented an in-depth technical report addressing all design aspects including schematics, functional requirements, and constraints to an audience of 40+ peers.

Won the award of Excellent Innovation by Jilin University and was applied widely in my college.

Process Engineer Intern Dalian China CNR Corporation 06/2012-08/2012

Worked on the crankshaft process and fixture design and used AutoCAD to get the component and assembly drawings.

Learned the melting technology of crankshaft and Mastered the structure and operational principle of Copula from the engineer in the factory.

Assisted in the maintenance of machine tools in the plant to keep a high efficiency in manufacturing tool alternations.

Conducted a project on operating principle and building structure of the nuclear reactor.

Established a dynamic model and analyzed temperatures and cooling water flow in the core on different stages to show the cause and effect of this accident.

Hosted a seminar with other scientists and professionals to allow the public have a clearer picture of nuclear energy and made a very good response.
