Independent Consulting, 10/94-Present

Designed and implemented many applications, database migration and integrations. These processes have included Oracle, SQL Server, Interbase, Informix, and ASCII based engines on UNIX, Windows and Internet platforms and several GUI/WEB development tools on various OS platforms. Responsibilities have included installation, programming, data formalization, re-design and/or implement data structures and backend processes (stored procedures, triggers, indexes and events) for engine tuning and performance. Design and development of C# and VB .NET applications within various industries. Conversions from legacy applications to .NET format, a DOS Accounting application into ASP/VB .NET format. Designed, programmed and supported two Dental Management applications. Install and support networking and hardware.

Migration from Legacy DOS Accounting System to VB/ASP .NET with Crystal Reports.

I designed and wrote programming for database conversions from various Dental software packages to EZDental and Dentrix format. Responsible for client interface, data cross footing, and client requested customization.

Optisource – Senior Consultant, 3/2012-Present

Perform the business analysis, design, coding and implementation for new data warehouse scenario under SQL 2010, integrating several sub-systems corporate wide. Using VS 2010 and C#, migrated two independent ecommerce web sites and corporate intranet sites to one common code base adding MVC framework for the simpler tasks. Built MVC base models for the common code base to add conformity across all code base functionality. Corporate management tickler integrated within SharePoint.

Paris Art Label – Senior Consultant, 9/2009-Present

Performed the business analysis, design and coding for a migration from VS 2003 to VS 2008 3.5 framework using C#/VB.NET. Moved inline SQL to stored procedures consolidating several business procedures into related procedures. Migration from SqlServer 2005 to 2008. Added functionality for multi-company structures to database and application. Third party application interface to handle cross-references across two databases. Coded WCF and SharePoint interfaces for internal document processing and centralization. Moved Crystal Reports queries to stored procedures and formalized reporting sub-system. Work as needed.

Microsoft – Consultant, 5/2012-7/2012

Assisted with performing code fixes along with testing for KB releases within several of Microsoft’s applications including Office, Exchange and Forefront using SQL Server 2010-12 and Visual Studio 2012 C# and C++. Worked with Exchange to SharePoint integration updates accordingly. Updated documentation for installation and setup for the same applications and also the local testing machines. Through all of the work performed, used all of Microsoft’s tool set for development and testing.

SmartSource Rentals – Senior Consultant, 9/2010-5/2011

Designed and coded a full scale reporting system for nationwide sites utilizing XSLT, XML and FOP. Designed common classes and routines to centralize formal business guidelines and built in exception classes for individual site requirements. This system reported on all inventory, order entry, delivery, recovery, billing and full accounting analysis.

Bridge Business and Property Brokers – Senior Consultant, 8/2007-5/2008, Consultant 5/2008-Present

Specification gathering, design, coding, installs and maintenance for Web and email solutions for nationwide Business and Property Brokers, three (3) Security businesses and Home Health Care service. Web sites run under IIS 7 with SQL Server 2005 as the backend all running on Windows 2003 AD and LDAP servers. Configured network, firewall, and performance tuning for all servers and web sites. The development for sites utilized C#, ASP.NET, ASP, AJAX, Java and Infragistics tool set to drive the content, marketing and report tracking internet/intranet infrastructures. Lead tracking routing tool written with Delphi 2009. Work as needed.

R&J Medical – Senior Consultant, 6/99-12-2011

Business analysis, design, coding and maintain medical billing software utilizing Delphi and Sybase for DME supplier. I implemented setup for entire network, including Internet accesses and WEB site for customer order entry and order status lookup utilizing ASP, C#, Java Script, Crystal Reports and Infragistics. Install and support all hardware upgrades and expansions. Maintenance updates for industry billing requirements.

DSmart Technologies – Senior Consultant, 2/07-8/2007

As a Senior Architect of a .NET migration team, I orchestrated database migration from SQL Server to Oracle, application conversion from native Win32 Delphi to .NET and setup and load balance for Oracle and Web servers and Web services. Video and image design and recoding for internet and POS interface for a real-time interactive promotional sub-system. Design and program Manufacturer, Distributor and Suppliers interface for uploading promotions and updating UPC warehouse database dealing directly with their IT departments for requirements. Built corporate reporting, forecasting for trend analysis and distribution/supplier ordering forecasting sub-systems using Crystal Reports and ODM.

Programming and database structure design for Federal Supreme Court Class Action Suits award distribution using PowerBuilder, Oracle and SQL Server. Responsibilities included data collection, data validation and analysis, interpret and program distribution rules as applied by a Federal Court decision and data interface for ADP check processing.

DATALINE INC. – VB ASP.NET Programmer, 8/2005-12/2005

A senior team member for WEB based Home Health Care Management System migration of entire web site to a formalized CSS structure, native ASP Dreamweaver to VB ASP.NET and Crystal Reports to Reporting Services, update existing Crystal Reporting subsystem, addition and updates of stored procedures, triggers, indexes and performance updates for supporting SQL Server 2000 databases. Maintain updates to importing subsystem for third party data integration. Phone support for online users.

As a consultant, responsibilities were to program Reporting Subsystem for POS end-user clients VB ASP.NET, Crystal Reports and MSSQL 2000. Code VB ASP.NET, Crystal Report and SQL scripts, tables, stored procedures and triggers.

As a consultant, responsibilities were to program Forecast and Statistical reports for Corporate Finance using ASP/.NET and Essbase/Oracle. Code ASP/.NET, SQL scripts and MS WEB Components and build to specifications.

A Senior Programmer and Systems Support for a Clinical Laboratory. Manage hardware, network, applications and databases for 20/6 biopsy analysis for tissue and blood diagnosis. Coordinate migration from Delphi 8.0 to C#.Net 2003/Crystal Reports and Infragistics tool set. VPN Security for end user Doctors access. Auto faxing sub-system used for reporting. Create statistical reports from IBM main-frame database utilizing Delphi 6.0, Visual Basic 6 and Excel. Reports are client specific summaries containing Debt Collections information. Format unstructured client import data into standard in-house import structure. Train other programmers in Delphi, Visual Basic and data structuring. Automated data flow from main-frame, EXCEL and Email process to clients utilizing FTP, SMTP and MAPI.

ACS, Inc – Senior Programmer, 5/01-2/02

Design and programmed according to customer specifications, police dispatching software utilizing Delphi and Interbase with additional interface to Mumps/Cache legacy application. Software would maintain dispatch information and distribute information to police, fire and EMS sites by way radio frequency and/or fax and GPS tracking of Police and Fire vehicles using MapInfo. C++ was used for interfaces to E911 and BNC communications boxes.
