Accomplishments
Designed, solutioned and implemented a Traditional Private Cloud within a dedicated HP Converged Infrastructure and Self Service Portal. Additionally built an Enterprise Cloud Services Virtual Private Cloud within a shared HP Converged Infrastructure and Self Service Portal. The dedicated Cloud provides a significant costs savings through its consolidation of countless physical servers to a few yet still solely owned by the financially responsible client.
The shared system provides extreme cost savings as it is leveraged by multiple clients and expenses financially distributed. Through these Self Service Portals, empowered and authorized clients have a menu of predefined approved base operating systems and hardware configurations to choose from that will meet their business and technical requirements. In addition, add on options of applications, database and web services. Those requests that took months to manually implement in the past can now be delivered in hours or a few days at most through automation. This includes the financial approval, provisioning, building, asset management, change and control and billing services.
