Out On A Limb Tree Preservation & Recovery January 2006 - December 2011

Treatment applications for insect infestation, disease infection, growth regulation & root enhancement. Preservation and recovery for tree care and longevity for pre, during and post construction sites. Performed trenching with Air-Spade to avoid heavy equipment usage in the critical root zoning of trees (under new construction sites) while trenching for utility line installations. Tree survival rate increase applied pre, during and post construction for Ellendale Development, Crown Point, Indiana from 33% to 85%. Construction companies were held accountable by the developer, to the new property owners for Fair Market Tree Life Value regarding any tree injuries or death for the age of the tree at time of injury/death.

City of Crown Point Municipality March 1993 - January 2008

Administrator for City of Crown Point's 1st Urban Forestry Department, leader of 8 team crew. Launched Tree City USA Program, Developed City Tree Inventory for 18,000 trees overlapping into AutoCAD Computer Program. Designed and created tree nursery to annually accommodate 500 saplings for Arbor Day and 1000, 5-10 year old trees for replacement program. Executed annual budget balancing and planning. Represented the City of Crown Point on all public campaigns regarding the improvements of the Urban Forestry Division. Proficient in grant writing and submissions. Administered all replacement cost reporting and analysis of determined value to the party(ies) responsible for any injury/death of a deemed “City Tree” (18,000 + city trees)

Lake County Indiana Tree ReLeaf Board 1997 – 2001

Co-Director, 1 of 7 seats, advisory committee to the Lake County Commissioners for the assessment and analysis protocol regarding Hazardous/Danger Trees throughout the Lake County Parks and Recreational locations.
