Lead Service Technician - contracted for 24/7 in house maintenance support for Schering Plough/Merck Research Laboratories. Performing corrective and preventative maintenance, calibrations for washer systems, robotics, bulk autoclaves, surgical autoclaves and other R&D related equipment. Responsible for maintaining 6 Bulk Rack Washers, 6 ABB robots, 3 indexing tunnel washers, 1 mini tunnel washer, 3 surgical auto claves, 6 bulk auto claves, 3 Detach bedding systems and chemical injection systems. Aforementioned equipment utilized by the entire Merck R & D department and serviced by me to avoid/minimize equipment downtime. I am also responsible for safety checks, interacting with staff to diagnose equipment issues and to provide training for over 50+ equipment users. I also provided training to 2 other support technicians for servicing the above equipment. I maintain a close positive relationship with management and the site Maintenance department and convey projected downtimes for repairs and equipment recommendations to better improve upon production cycles. I specialize in diagnostics and repairs of pneumatics, hydraulics, steam, low voltage electric (12v-480v), system automation, PLC’s (Omron, GE Fanuc & Allen Bradley), conveyor systems and vacuum systems. I research towards parts replacement and maintain over 1000+ parts inventory and control and monitor the stock room.
