Trican Well Service, Springtown, TX

Lead, mentor and perform Site Safety Audits and Facility Audits for North America districts. Work with District Managers and Field Personnel on compliance issues found at each district.

Conduct Management review meetings to assess the effectiveness of the HSE Management System and identify required improvements and advise Management on corrective actions required.

Liaison for BP for almost two years while working on a major project in the Arkoma Field in Oklahoma. Established key relationships with BP Management, Field Personnel and Corporate Project Managers by providing superior services and products through QHSE excellence.

Coordinated the environmental clean-up of the Chesapeake “Eurie” fire. Successfully worked with vendors to ensure all environmental testing was performed and documented and site debris was properly disposed of timely to keep non-productive time to a minimum to ensure customer costs were minimized.

Organized Management strategy planning meetings and implemented policies and procedures to decrease the TRIR rate from 2.78 in 2007 to 0.74 in 2009.

Worked with multiple Management Teams across the US to ensure consistency in OSHA record keeping as well as plan OSHA training for the Districts.

Structured and implemented a “Training Tracking” and “MVR Tracking” system to track compliance of employees and fulfill monthly reporting requirements.

Loss Prevention Team (LPT) Leader. Revitalized and transformed the team to be an instrumental group within HSE to lead accident investigations and loss time incident assessments.

Service Quality Team (SQT) Leader. Managed and trained team to investigate “Service Quality” issues that field service crews encountered while performing jobs. This team was trained to manage and assess incidents across multiple business segments including: Fracturing, Cement, Coiled Tubing and Wireline.

Brought the District’s environmental documentation up to date from a three year gap in regulatory and compliance reporting to avoid state and federal fines and penalties.

Restructured the court operations by implementing policies and procedures for an efficient and ethical operation.

Pioneered an “Alternative Sentencing Program” that was approved by the State of Texas and adopted by several counties across the state to reduce county costs.

Supervised thousands of hours of community service completed by individuals that were unemployed and could not afford to pay fines, thus eliminating tax payer’s financial burden to support inmates.

Managed an average of 5,000+ civil and criminal cases per year and held a 97.8% deposition rate.

Coordinated with local and state agencies in fatality accident investigations and reporting.

Served in conjunction as the Young County Coroner.
