I would like to apply for a position as a mechanic in your workshop. I am a fully qualified mechanic with a Diploma in Automotive and more than 5 years working experiences in Australia and several years of part light vehicles mechanic overseas . My skills range from car services, fault finding and repairs on an extensive range of cars and light 4wd including European, Japanese and Australian. I also possess a sound knowledge of cars mechanical and electronic systems and am competent and familiar with a variety of various scan tools such as MUT3 for Mitsubishi, IDS for Ford, Consult for Nissan, GDS for Kia, Tech 2 for Holden and Snap-on scan tool for all vehicle manufacturers.
Furthermore, I am able to deal with mechanical duties with a minimum supervision and I am also familiar with a wide variety of equipment used to assist work task. I do possess the analytical ability required to diagnose problems quickly and accurately. As a mechanic, I consider the diagnosing/fault finding to be the most satisfying and challenging duty.
