DDAR project: DDAR project in Dentacom is to introduce the EFT transaction for the claims.

This is a project in a series of projects to support the “Nor’easter” transaction. Nor’easter is the code name assigned to the spin/merge of Verizon’s Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont assets. This transaction is expected to be approved by the regulatory bodies in each state and the Federal Communication Commission, specified Verizon long distance customers will become the property of FairPoint Communication and/or its designated new entity. This project provides the requirements to support the billing of FairPoint for the long distance voice services purchased from VzB as a result of the spin/merge of ME, NH, and VT Verizon Long Distance (VZLD) and Verizon Select Service, Inc. (VSSI) voice customers. The series of requirements outlined in this project detail the effort required by Verizon systems and applications (supported by VzT and VzB) to operationally support the billing of FairPoint long distance voice traffic post-transition services period. At the current count, there are approximately 600,000+ long distance lines impacted by this effort.
