Purchasing and Materials Management Supervisor 9/2012 to 07/2015 Responsible for the following aspects of the supply chain: sourcing, purchasing, transport, warehousing, kitting and distribution. Procurement of materials needed for the maintenance of the entire mill and mill employees 'safety. Maintain accountability of materials received into the warehouses and merge the physical inventory with MP2 software. Identify equipment that needed to be fabricated and assign to the proper maintenance personnel. Incorporate Lean Six Sigma techniques, i.e. 5s, into the purchasing and 6 warehouses contained within the mill. Successfully incorporated a vending safety plan, true consignment operation, and consolidated over $500,000 worth of materials by adding to the current parts room foot print. This in turn decreased the materials foot print by over 8,000 square feet.
