This hotel sold in 2013, I was utilized by both the seller and buyer for all statistical and financial historical data and future projections.
This hotel became a Hilton Franchise in 2010. Resulting in changing all our systems to the Hilton brand equipment.
Doubletree Hotel / Skokie, IL 3/07 – 9/07
Responsible for Budgets, Forecasts, Month End processes, Balance Sheet reconciliations, managing the accounting staff of three.
Review of operational statistics for trends and accuracy.
Reviewed and updated the pricing for the wedding packages and catering events menu
Brought the Accounts Receivable aging and billing up to date and kept the ratios within industry standards

Provided the corporate office support to five hotels, a health club, import entity, leases of office spaces, single family homes, and a leased restaurant. I was responsible for the centralized accounting office.
Created working budgets for all of the entities through a consolidated financial statement as well as a Capital Budget and depreciation schedules.
Maintained cash flow projections for each entity.
Provided trade show support as a Sales Manager for the import business, attending trade shows throughout the country. Increased our customer base by 300%.

Provided IT support. We changed the back office accounting software three times and the PMS system twice.
Assisted the hotel in obtaining the President’s Award from Radisson.
Transferred the ADP payroll processing to Human Resources to eliminate and save on labor.
