To: A Perspective Employer:
I am seeking an Advanced Practice Nursing opportunity with an established facility, dedicated to providing excellent client services, foster empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced based practice while offering the opportunity for both personal and professional growth.
With my background in nursing, I am sure I could make a significant contribution in a short time. I had completed a third degree in nursing in 2003 and I received my Nurse Practitioner as well as Nurse Educator licenses. Currently I am working at Valley Hospital as APN. Before that role I was working at Christ Hospital as a Director of NP Program. I had developed, implemented, and ran Readmission Reduction Program with great success. I have been enrolled in a residency program and trained along with the residents for three years. My first experience as an NP I acquired at Hackensack University Medical Center. Then I had an extensive training at Bergen Regional Medical Center. Prior to that I worked at NYUMC on medical-surgical unit for 5 years. I conducted two researches quantitative and qualitative; one of them was published where I received and international award for the publication. I have learned a lot by working with different physicians and other NPs. I was participating in teamwork where my colleagues inspired me by their dedication, commitment, and professionalism. By working together all of us have made significant professional contributions that have improved patients’ care by developing and raising performance levels to facilitate best patients’ outcomes.
I have a lot of good qualities as a person and as a professional health giver. I am conscientious in my professional and personal life. I take pride in my work and myself, and derive great satisfaction from doing my job well. I also cope well with high-stress situations and can manage a variety of patients simultaneously by providing them with the best quality of care.
Through my various experiences, I have developed an ability to collaborate with people over the years and realized that collaboration, wisdom, knowledge, and patience work best. I know how to resolve a conflict where win-win situation would be an outcome.
I belief my background provides the skills you require for this position. In addition to that, I am very flexible person in terms of my schedule. I would welcome the opportunity for a personal interview to further discuss my qualifications. You can reach me at the above telephone number or e-mail address.
