Pavan Tiwari is an SAP ABAP Technical Consultant in the SAP practice of IBM Global Service’s Application Management Services Line of Business. With a rich experience of more than 9 years in the SAP ABAP, Pavan has proved himself to be a proficient and a zealous resource who has been involved in highly challenging developments and projects and has always guaranteed strong client satisfaction. Responsibilities as Onsite Co-ordinator / Senior Developer:

Work with GIS People, User and Functional owner to understand the issue and explain it to offshore.

Analyse the issue to understand whether its defect or Change Request and follow the SDLC accordingly.

Work on all critical issue at onsite, and if require arrange the call between all parties involve in the issues.

In case of new requirement, gather the information, prepare the design, get it approved by Architect.

Monitor all the interfaces two times in a day; I’m responsible for RTR and SCM Interfaces only, so monitor RTR and SCM interfaces.

Actively involve in the Disk Space management for the SAP with Unix Team.

Create a JIL file for Autosys Job which is a scheduler for this Project. All jobs are executed from Autosys .

Based on the demand, force start, hold and off-hold the Jobs of Autosys.

Plan the outage for quarterly maintenance from technical side: this involve prepare the Job forecast list, Discuss with business which need to be run earlier and which needs to run after Outage.

Send the status report to Project Management team every week about status of Enhancement request and Defect.

Review all the deliverables related to defects/ER across the Team .

Responsibilities as Data Migration Developer

Review the Ticket received from the User.

Prepare the Report in BOA tool if its related to only data extraction.

Follow the process lead out by Abbott to provide the report, once all approvals are in place generate the Information report and deliver to user.

If its related to Mass change in SAP, follow the Data change process (DCR) setup by the Abbott.

Once all approval in place, generate preload report, get it verified by Data SME and business users.

Once approved, load the data into sap using BOA tools and generate Post Load report.

Get it verified by the Data SME, SAP Functional Consultant and Business user.

Prepare the weekly report for the Management

Responsibilities as Site Data Lead:

Attend workshop during Solution and confirmation phase.

Work with BT People, BPLs and Functional owner to write the EZMAP rule. I was not involve in initial mapping but join the team during Mock 2 load.

Main responsibility is on defect area, analyze defect, review the defect, decide whether its need to assign to Core team, local BT team or BPL.

In Pfizer project, Data loading schedule comes from the Core data team, so send across to the site and check if any thing need to adjusted and inform the Core data team/Regional Data Lead in advance.

Publish the daily defect status dashboard

Based on the defect trend, prepare the check list of missing configuration/ Construction file issue/ Mapping rule issue. And request the responsible person to check these before the next load.

Publish daily Data load status report during the Integration Load for site BPL and Integration team

Chair the defect call with core data team process area lead/BOA developer and Site peoples during Integration to watch the defects more closely.

Follow up with BPLs regarding the Data Verification

Responsibilities as Interface lead at Singapore Plant (Worked only 2 Months):

Attend workshop for all process area during Solution and confirmation phase.

Description: PepsiCo is a world leader in convenient snacks, foods and beverages with revenues of more than $39 billion and over 185,000 employees. It consists of 4 major companies which includes PepsiCo International (PI) which is the company responsible for all its food and beverage business outside North America. The company consists of Frito-Lay North America, PepsiCo Beverages North America, PepsiCo International and Quaker Foods North America. PepsiCo brands are available in nearly 200 countries and territories and generate sales at the retail level of about $9.2 billion.

PepsiCo decided to kick off their SAP implementation PI in 2007 in their markets Netherlands, China, Mexico and Egypt. The PIRT 1.1 template was successfully implemented in all of these markets with IRC (Saudi Arabia) being the last extension. PI then migrated to the PIRT 2.2 template which has been rolled out to Germany, China (Phase II), Egypt (Phase II), the remaining industries in Mexico and Brazil. Being an implementation in the distribution sector, PI poses several challenges in the business areas of procure-to-pay, production planning, inventory and warehousing, indirect sales, etc. Following two enormous implementations in Germany and Brazil, PepsiCo has now migrated to PIRT4.2, the DSD module being the latest addition to the template. All throughout, Pavan has been a key technical resource who contemplated and implemented crucial technical changes to enable this evolution of the PepsiCo roll-out template.

Pavan is involved in FICO and OTC developments which involved development of reports, Smart Forms/Script, Enhancement, Interface, Report Painter, ABAP Query and DME. The key focus is on operational reports and sales cycles (with OTC forming the backbone of the implementation). Pavan has knowledge of complete OTC cycle of Pepsi CO Market including the integration with DSD and FICO. Pavan was in China to support the Go-Live Phase of China Market and co-ordinate with Offshore.

Pavan was Offshore FICO lead for PepsiCo Germany, Egypt, Saudi and Brazil. He worked as onsite-coordinator for 3 months for Brazil Market during the most critical integration testing phases and returned with encouraging letters of appreciation from the client and the project management.

Pavan is currently involved as a dedicated technical lead in the challenging DSD (Direct Store Delivery) implementation for PepsiCo International that will be simultaneously rolled out to 3 major markets across the globe. PMI’s global SAP implementation program was named P1 and the process areas involved are Logistics, P2P, P2Y, PMT, FICO, and OTC.

Pavan has been working for this implementation from IBM India as SAP ABAP Team Lead. Pavan has worked for Wave2, Wave3 and Wave4 of PMI implementation. Pavan was involved in FICO and Plant Maintenance developments which involved development of ALV reports and Smart Forms, Interface, Bank statement Upload, Automatic Payment related development.
