GRADUATE PROJECTS AND TECHNICAL REPORTS
Satellite Attitude Dynamics – Gravity Gradient Stabilized Satellite
In this project the gravity gradient stabilized satellite, which is launched into low earth orbit, has been described and it has been shown that by applying just the gravity gradient, the desired stabilization cannot be reached.
Unscented Kalman Filter for Orbit Determination
In this project, a new onboard orbit determination algorithm designed with the unscented Kalman filter (UKF) was developed. The comparison of the orbit determination results using EKF (extended Kalman filter) and UKF shows that orbit determination using the UKF yields better results than that using the EKF.
3RPR Manipulator Simulation in GUI – Forward and Inverse Kinematics and Dynamics Simulation of 3RPR manipulator, the result included the workspace, manipulation of 3RPR using both forward and inverse kinematics and dynamics.
Optimization of a Robotic Arm
The project is included optimality conditions for nonlinear optimization, interior point methods for convex optimization, Newton's method and dynamic programming and optimal control methods in order to optimize the motion of a manipulator moving between two desire location.
