Had at least 7 - 8 years experience working in quite a few local freight forwarding & shipping company. Handles customers inquiries, import/export shipments. I am PC literate, have experience in handling import/export documentation and correspondences, permit declaration, support the sales department in freight quotes, inquiries and correspondences, operation, transportation, packaging, labeling, manifesting faxes and etc.

My past working experience are as follow :-

Yio Chu Kang Dental Surgery (1983 - 1983)

I worked as a Dental Assistant and assist the dentist in all the dental treatment operation including dental surgery, dental molding. Handles customer inquiries and phone calls, appointment booking, co-ordinates with suppliers for all dental equipment service and accessories.

Freight Management Pte Ltd (1983 - 1985)

I started out as a operation assistant, only answer phone inquiries and some simple documentation, and i was promoted to Customer service Executive after 4 months working there. As a Customer Service Executive, i handle all import/export documentation, cargo permit declarations, customers service and cargo consolidation, (FCL/LCL)local haulage, warehousing storage, customers inquiries, freight quotes inquiry, local and oversea agents, customers faxes and correspondences, cargo manifesting and operation.

Deugro Sea-freight (1986 - 1987)

Outdoor Sales and customer service, first experience as a sales personnel, travel outdoor to source for new customers base shipper, i have to handle all freight quotes, inquiries, follow up on sales call, import/export documentation, bank documents, invoices, delivery orders, purchase orders etc.

Point-To-Point Forwarding Pte Ltd - A subsidiary of Regional Container Lines (1988 - 1990)

Its a joint venture business within own family members.

Appointed to manage the Karaoke pub business as i enjoy meeting different kind of people from everywhere, i manage the full set of accounts, fleet of staffs, suppliers, stocks, promotion, entertainment public relation, entertain customers, sing and drink with customers, handles events function, customer feed back and etc. We ceased business due to the increase of rental imposed by the landlord.

Trios Pub (2000-2002)

Worked as a Manageress.

I was hired to manage the pub business, i handle the company's accounts, payroll, staff, events, promotions, stocks ordering and suppliers.

Besides all that, i am also expected to draw in crowd and business for the pub, i entertain and pr, drink, sing with customers. I serve, entertain and mingle with customers all the time.

Dreamworld Entertainment Pte Ltd 2003 - 2005)

Managing Partner

This chain is set up taking over Trios Pub, change of investors.

I am a salaried managing partner in this organization.

I manage the whole entire business handling all duties that are related to the business.

Like before, i have to handle all the accounting, staffs recruitment and welfare, entertain customers, customer relation, stocks purchases, suppliers, licenses, events function, and etc.

Business Ceased in 2005.

Yin's Place (Club Titan) - Self Employed (2006 - 2011)

Managing own pub business and stopped business in September 2011 as business is not doing well enough.

Handles all pub related issues as before such as staffs, accounts, contacts of suppliers and stocks, licenses, promotions, recruitment of local and foreign staffs, entertainment customers and etc.

This is a like a sales coordinating customer service job.

Handles all quotations, advices on interior space planning and renovation, run job site liase with contractors and sub contractors. This is a commission base job.

I am now looking out for a suitable job with basic salary and am willing to start as soon as possible if required.
