Owner/ Principal - Trost Insurance Agency 2012 - Present
Grew an Insurance agency from scratch to over 1,070 policies in force in 3 years.
Hired, trained, and mentored 5 employees for the agency.
Maintained a database of over 3,000 prospects, and averaging 35 new business sales per month to new clients.
Provided customer service to a variety of personalities demonstrating poise, effective relationship management, and an ability to deal with clients in difficult situations.
Developed and deployed a marketing plan for operating territory.
Executive/ Operations Officer - Recruiting Station Harrisburg 2009 - 2012
Supervised command staff to provide logistical and administrative support over 75 field recruiters covering over 14,000 square miles across eastern PA.
Developed policies and training plans in order to meet mission goals 29 months straight.
Set mission and production goals, provided training and mentoring to 15 Recruiting Sub-station commanders, and over 75 recruiters to ensure they meet their monthly and yearly goals.
Conducted sales analysis to ensure production goals were being met.
Ensured 100% of the company’s policies, procedures and techniques were trained to, followed and enforced.
Processed, tracked and provided quality control to over 2,000 applicants for entry into the United States Marine Corps.
Managed a pool of 1,157 applicants for 14 months and shipped 996 to boot camp.
Future Operations Officer and Training Officer - 3rd Marine Regiment 2009
Led the staffing and development of the Regimental Campaign plan for Fiscal Year 2010 (similar to a yearly business plan).
Developed and supervised training program that served to quickly and thoroughly prepare 25 Marines from multiple commands for deployment to Afghanistan.
Developed and executed a sequenced Regimental barracks plan to accommodate a surge in barracks and facility requirements for 4 Battalions, HQ Company and Combat Assault Company.
o(4,513 Marines and Sailors) in 23 buildings across Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
Infantry Officer - 2nd Battalion 3rd Marine Regiment 2006 -2008
Hand- picked to lead Battalion Commander’s Security detachment conducting 105 combat convoy patrols, logging 560+ hrs outside the wire, and working with local national Iraqis in order to gather intelligence for future operations and coordinate security and operations across the Area of Operations.
Trained over 225 Marines, teaching classes in small and large groups.
Oversaw embark of company to multiple training locations including from Hawaii to Iraq and back.
Maintained accountability, quality control and maintenance of over $1,100,000 account to include all weapons and serialized gear during deployment to, operations in Iraq and redeployment to Hawaii.
Lead, mentored, trained, managed and deployed with 42 Marines to Hawaii, 29 Palms California and Haditha, Iraq.
Communicated and disseminated Battalion and Company plans down the chain of command ensuring accuracy and comprehension.
