I was a machinist running two Mori Seiki horizontal lathes, I down loaded and loaded programs into machines as well as edit programs, I did first articles, Using micrometers, and depth micrometers, as well as calipers, To maintain dimensions on blue prints. I also used overhead cranes to load the both machines. And worked in assembly area when nothing to machine. I was let go due to a reduction in force.

I`ve worked for this company a couple of times because of a slow down in the economy in 2004.

I’ve worked for this company a couple of times, The second time I worked in the Tool and Die side of the company, I took apart working dies using overhead cranes, I make core pins to existing prints using Mazak Quick turn lathe, And I also used ID & OD center less grinders, drill presses & tapping machines, bridgeports, And also used ID and OD micrometers, calipers, and Height gauges, AS well as pickup and delivery of Die when completed, Also pickup and deliver various products to vendors.
The first time I worked here I went from running machines, Forklift operator, Shipping and Receiving, To a night time supervisor.
I’ve successfully completed Mazak and Leblonde training as well as completing a course on Fanuc programming at Rock Valley College. As well as completing course for CMM (Mitutoyo). I supervised second shift, Assigned jobs too as many as 14 people, Any training of new employee’s, such as reading OD and ID Mic’s, Caliper’s and the proper procedures of running and operating any of the machines. As well as any of the company rules that pertained to them, I’ve been involved in bringing ISO 9002 into company such as updating routings, tooling sheets, As well as proper machining procedures into factory. Made sure all machines were ahead on parts, as well as empty chip containers, and clean as needed.
SKILLS.
Experience with first pc layouts, set up machines with proper gauging and routing information for checking parts (such as OD/ID Comparators, Micrometer, Height Gauges, And any Air Gage) for proper release . I’ve done capability studies for QC. I’ve uploaded and down loaded programs, As well as set up on A55+ with pro3 controls(4 axis machining center) Mazak t32, and MazakT+ controls(quick turn lathes),Suga lathes with fanuc controls. I’ve done maintenance and some trouble shooting on all of these machines. I’ve worked on Heald Hypneumatic Boring and Tapping Heads on multi station turn tables, as well as maintenance repair. I’ve been in and out of shipping and receiving and 20 years experience using various forms of the forklift.
