Project Management

oProject Manager to improve and streamline document approval, storage and communication of procedures, policies and records using SAP DMS software

Scope: 42 sites & offices in North America

oProject Manager to improve and streamline internal communications concerning customers, including customer complaints, corrective actions and the internal audit process using SAP CRM. I also served as the project manager and subject matter expert in development of this software, to include a platform for use on iPads and iPhones. Scope: 42 sites & offices in North America

oLed a cross functional team in developing a quality management program for 10 plants at the time, averaging 39 employees per plant, throughout the United States based on ISO 9000 and Lean standards.

Program was fully administered throughout the company within 18 months of beginning the project, which was 6 months under budgeted time

oProject Manager in 2008 to move regional office of LNA, including finding a new building and overseeing the extensive build out of the new one. This project came in on time and $5,000 under budget.

oProject Manager for companywide (10 plants at that time in 1997) process improvements to streamline documents and records control, and corrective action processes from a paper based system to an automated process.

Quality Management

oHeaded up a companywide project to combine and incorporate policies and procedures based on ISO 9002:1994 and ISO 9001:2008 for a total quality management system for North America. This includes 19 Lime Plants (3 ISO Certified, 10 mfg. terminals, and 10 minerals plants.

oOversaw all aspects of the quality improvement efforts for LNA Minerals Division, which included 10 plants and produces a myriad of products sold to 14 industries, including, but not limited to Feed, Fertilizer, Asphalt, Construction, Glass, Fiberglass, Paint, Rubber and Plastic.

oImproved performance of the company, by cutting customer complaints by 20% due to my quality efforts in the first year of establishing the QMS.

oEstablished strategic plans, policies and procedures at all levels of the quality improvement effort to meet or exceed internal and external customers’ expectations.

oScheduled and lead audit teams to conduct annual audits for 10 plants.

IT/Training

oAdministrator of the SAP Portal Document Management System

oCreated the training program/plan that was used to implement the new SAP software systems.

oTrained the trainers for all of LNA East and West Region personnel on SAP CRM and DMS systems, and lead the training for Executive Management and Business Unit Managers.

oTrained and coached team members to facilitate the quality improvement changes throughout the company

oWrote and maintained a training program and tools using classroom methods, as well as hands on methods, for training team members to conduct internal audits. Also trained all quality management representatives how to teach audit techniques to new auditors.
