Developed α stereoselective glycosylation methodology using bicyclic beta-sulfonium, applied the methodology to 2 complex substrate syntheses, completely solved the difficulty in chemical formation of α galactose linkage and first demonstrated rapid complex oligosaccharide assembly by flourous tag separation technology.
Led a 3-person research team on bicyclic beta-sulfonium glycosylation mechanism study.
Synthesized a glycoconjugate vaccine candidate for C. difficile treatment, collectively evaluated 3 existing synthetic routes and designed a coupling method between complex oligosaccharides for the first time.
