SUMMARY
I am an accomplished healthcare professional with over 30+ years of pharmacy experience, including 15 years of MEDITECH implementations and optimizations as both a hands-on consultant and a project manager. I have worked with many versions of Meditech, including, Magic, CS, 6.0, and 6.1 Ready. Having worked as a Pharmacist and a pharmacy technician for many years, I have a good understanding of the workflow and operations of a hospital pharmacy. I have led many successful pharmacy and Ambulatory Order Management (RXM/AOM) implementations. While my strongest build experience is in the Pharmacy and RXM modules, I have also served as Project manager and team member for other clinical projects including; Physician Training for CPOE and PDOC, Bedside Medication verification (BMV) and electronic medication verification (eMAR) implementations, Order set builds for Drugs in POM and OM, and multi-facility Corporate Management Software (CMS) implementation and standardization projects.
I have excellent interpersonal and people skills and am comfortable working with both clinical and non-clinical individuals and groups. With a proven ability to meet client deadlines, I am still able to maintain a strong attention to detail and service excellence standards. I am a motivated and passionate leader or member of any team.
