Accomplishments

• November 2014. Coordination of activities in support of the installation of Data Innovation’s Instrument Manager on three HP Proliant Servers in SJGH’s clinical laboratory. Supported the production go-live integration (including diagnostics/troubleshooting) of two Abbott Architect analyzers with Instrument Manager and SJGH’s laboratory information system NTT Data Optimum Lab.

• January 2015. Production go-live of SJGH ADT feed with Medisas’ cloud-based patient management workflow software via integration of SJGH's hospital information system, a Mirth Connect channel, and an encrypted, mutually-authenticated service hosted on Amazon Web Services.

• February 2015. Completed SJGH laboratory Instrument Manager failover simulation, switching order/result routing from the primary to the shadow (secondary) server, then rolling back to the original configuration. Created failover documentation.

• April 2015. Completed production QA and go-live of SJGH ADT feed from Mirth Connect outbound to Inland Empire Health Information Exchange.

• May 2015. CAP inspection of St. Agnes Medical Center Clinical Laboratory in Fresno, CA.; responsible for LIS evaluation.
