Inspection and Quality Control Manager

Rimpull Corporation - Olathe, KS - July 1985 to June 2015 Quality, Inspection, Manufacturing Responsibilities Production, Quality Control, Inspection, Warranty and Failure Analysis. Day to day operations in a 40,000 square foot facility with the management of 15 employees. We produced all the individual components that make up the completed earth moving vehicles. I was responsible to ensure all components were assembled correctly and on schedule at a projected cost.

With 30 years of experience it was my position to inspect every aspect of the product and insure it met quality standards.

Failure analysis related to warranty was a huge opportunity for me to save our company money and provide the customer dependable products. Through self study and hands on experience I was able to implement root cause analysis and corrective action.

Worked directly with our engineering department to discuss non-conformances in product or process and also what the resolution would be. Worked directly with our purchasing department to ensure we purchased through qualified vendors related to quality, cost and on time deliveries. ACCOMPLISHMENTS

I interviewed and hired many quality individuals to work in the inspection and quality control departments.

I was able, through knowledge of failure analysis, to identify root causes and corrective action implementation to save our customers and company expenses in warranty costs. I made many recommendations about our products and inspection process to improve the overall quality of the items produced.
