A list of my responsibilities are as follows:

A . I was the responsible Project Engineer for all communication line protector designs. B. I was the responsible Project Engineer for all ac surge protection device designs. C. I was the responsible Project Engineer for a 6KVA rack mountable and a 10KVA tower uninterruptible power supply.

D. I was the UL contact person for all communication line protector designs and for all ac surge protector designs.

E. I dealt with the following UL Safety Standards on a regular basis : UL497, UL497A, UL497B, UL1283, UL1449, UL1459.

F I developed audit test procedures for the communication line protector product line and for the ac surge protection device line.

G. I developed factory test procedures for all communication line protector products and for all ac surge protector device products.

H. As the responsible Project Engineer I have traveled to Shenzhen, China where two of my ac surge protectors were manufactured by Sysgration and by MIG. I. I was assigned team leader in our companies transition to RoHS compliance. J. Performance testing on competitive communication line protectors, ac surge protectors, power conditioners and uninterruptible power supplies. These assignments were driven by marketing. I was supplied a competitive product which I would 2

then test to the manufacturer’s published specification. I would summarize my findings /observations in a report.

POSITION : Project Engineer

I was the sole electrical engineer and was responsible for all electrical engineering projects and activities. I reported directly to the departmental mechanical engineering manager. A summary of my outstanding projects were: A. With the use of an HP Network Analyzer and a KeyTek surge generator I designed numerous communication line surge protectors which all meet Category 5 transmission performance. Category 5 protectors are designed to meet TIA\EIA specification and are employed in transmission lines up to 100MHz. All are listed to UL497B (Isolated Loop).

All protectors were the first of their kind in the industry and all are patented. B. I was a member of the PassageWay product line team for Lucent. Eight projects in all. I was assigned Project Engineer for each project. All designs were strictly Lucent’s. Given a schematic from Lucent my role as teammember was to miniaturize a completely thru hole component design to surface mount and to assist the factory with production of the final design. These projects were all noted for their exceptionally fast turnaround time from schematic to production. C. Designed an AC surge protection device to meet UL Standard 1449. D. Designed and constructed a HI Voltage lab where my communication line protector and AC surge protector designs could be tested to UL497,UL497A,UL1459,UL1449 and to FCC Part 68 before submission to UL and to the FCC. I was sent to Mexico to provide direct engineering support for production. This included presiding over the assembly line ensuring that the product was assembled and tested in accordance with all engineering, safety and customer specifications.
