Engineering graduate with strong mechanical, civil and environmental educational background seeking to implement work experience acquired overseas in a distribution and trading company where planning, managing and executing competitive sourcing processes was the norm Dear Sir or Madam:

Please accept this letter and accompanying resume as an expression of my interest in a position with your organization.

I am highly motivated by an insatiable curiosity and competitive environment. I enjoy and thrive working individually and in a team environment. I am seeking to apply my knowledge, experience and passion to a professional and well-organized environment, which I believe can be attained through your organization.

I have recently received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University. In years prior I received a Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma from Camosun College. The wealth of knowledge I have acquired over the years have afforded me a multitude of skill sets.

As an example of my experience and individual excellence, I was fortunate enough to take part in an individual project responsible for designing, modeling with an analysis of an Energy Conversion system by installing a PV array on a designated city in Canada. I was awarded top grades for this project and found that it may be utilized as a working model to supply energy to an existing city in Canada. Furthermore, this unique elective course that centered on alternative energy, covered in extensive detail, the design of Wind Energy Conversion Systems as well as Hydro-Electric Energy Conversions.

In addition, as a term project in the final year, I was part of a team that was involved in the design and installation of an Emission Control Research project of a non thermal gas separation unit. The details of this project, kept in strict confidentiality from all that were not involved, and group members held to a confidentiality agreement, was the building block of my Engineering career and taught me a great deal about honesty, competitive technologies and intellectual property rights.

I am certain I could make significant contribution to your organization, and I look forward to your response to further discuss how my education and abilities might best be employed by your organization.

Sincerely,

Henok T ZeMichael encl: Resume
