BRENDA HODGES
Sharon Hill, PA. 19079
Dear Hiring Manager,
Your ad caught my attention as the next logical step in my professional development. After serving children and their families for over 20 years in the mental health and foster care systems, I took some time from my career for personal reasons. During that time I was able to further my skills through self-employment and increasing my computer skills. At this time I feel I have the exact qualifications needed for this position. These added skills: Micro Excel for Spread sheets serve to increase the success of coordinated efforts to better serve the client.
I also have experience as a pre -school teacher. Although I have been out the work force on a full-time basis, I have stayed current with the trends. I have found many opportunities to engage myself as a volunteer. My activities included teaching Bible study as well as helping counselors and psychologists. Most recently, I’ve worked part time with St. James Middle School. In addition to my regular responsibilities I participated as an informal “life coach” to students. In as much as I enjoy my position at St. James and they like-wise love my work, budget cuts dictate my search for employment. Regaining reentry into the workforce; I’m now prepared to embrace full-time employment.
If your Agency values someone who is self motivated and requires limited supervision, then I am the candidate you’re look for.
I look forward to hearing from you. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Brenda Hodges
