I provide logistical and technical support to the U.S. Army Program Director, Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (PD TMDE), Off-Platform Automated Test Equipment (OPATS). I evaluate, plan and conduct Automated Test Equipment (ATE) maintenance and sustainment planning of current and legacy Integrated Family of Test Equipment (IFTE) systems and associated Test Program Set (TPS), including support planning for current development of the Next Generation Automatic Test System (NGATS). I develop Technical Manual procedures and elements in support of new systems acquisition and review existing manuals for correctness and completeness. I implement PEO/DA/DoD acquisition policy and procedures to provide fielding’s of fully supportable systems, while meeting operational requirements for the soldier in the field. I participate in the planning, preparation and conduct of New Materiel Fielding’s of ATE systems. I organize and conduct New Equipment Training (NET) and on the job training to soldier operators, maintainers, and civilian technicians. I plan, monitor and conduct initial ATE testing, TPS testing, and technical evaluation of the NGATS. I provide input, assistance, and recommendations for ATE Self-Test, Fault Detection, and Fault Isolation software procedures utilized during testing of associated TPS / Weapon System equipment. I analyze operational challenges and recommend corrective actions and program enhancements to mitigate potential problems. I provide timely and accurate written and oral reports identifying needs, illustrating ATE systems operational characteristics, malfunctions, deviations, and solutions to improve reliability and sustainability. I provide liaison with and support to PD TMDE customers, and furnish telephonic and on-site technical support for fielded and deployed equipment. I support the planning and conduct of developmental logistics test events. I am a contributing member on a variety of logistical/technical IPTs. I recommend innovative developmental modifications to ATE design to increase system maintainability, testability, and sustainment. I monitor and provide technical expertise to fielded BSTFs, EOTFs and NGATS (Next Generation Automated Test Station). I evaluate test performance, perform troubleshooting measurements, make adjustments, repair and replace malfunctioning components within the ATE and associated TPSs as well as electronic, electrical, mechanical, electrical- mechanical, hydraulic, electrical-hydraulic, pneumatic, and optical assemblies, subassemblies, and modules. I regularly perform Operating System software regression testing, BETA

testing, Formal Quality Testing (FQT), and TPS backward compatibility testing on the EOTF (V5). I provide expert guidance and support to Basis of Issue Planning.

June 2005 to August 2011 SAIC, Huntsville, AL

Performed maintenance, technical evaluations, troubleshooting procedures, repairs, and operated the Integrated Family of Test Equipment (BSTF) V3, Electro-Optical Test Facility (EOTF) V5, Commercial Civilian Equivalent (CEE) and Next Generation Automated Test Station (NGATS). Inspected, tested, performed fault isolation, maintained, and repaired two CEEs, 6 BSTFs, 3 EOTFs, 2 NGATS, and all associated TPS equipment located at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL, Building 3460. Inspected, tested, repaired, and maintained Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in support of TPS development for the APACHE AH-64 (A thru D Model) optical and electronic TPS. Performed weekly fault detection and self-alignment test procedures. Performed fault isolation procedures to correctly identify failed components of the ATE, TPS, LRU, and/or SRU. Evaluated test performance with prescribed values, measure, adjust, repair, and replace malfunctioning components. Performed adjustments of ATE, TPS, LRU, and/or SRU assemblies, subassemblies, and modules. Used Atlas Debug procedures, source code, ELTDs, schematics, block diagrams, engineering drawings, and Test Measurement and Diagnostic Test (TMDE) equipment to determine serviceability of components. Provided technical support to TPS development engineers on serviceability, maintainability, and capabilities during the development of new TPS sets. Used drills, grinders, machine tools, solder tools, and hand tools to fabricate or modify hardware needed for the ATE and TPS.
