It is a PeopleSoft HCM Development project for the Government Client, and I am a part of development team. Apart from development currently I am sharing the responsibility as technicallead for my team of 9 members, which includes helping them in completing the assigned task and completing the deliverables on time.

Technology: Oracle PeopleSoft (HCM Module). Worked on Application Designer- Version 8.53

and PIA Version 9.2, SQL Developer.

Role: Developer

My Experience and Work during the Project:

1.Created a custom component in PeopleSoft for Employee Self Verification – The Employee Self verification component will be used by the customers to update their information and to modify their reporting hierarchy.

2.Created an Application Engine program for the module Employee Self Verification module. The AE will be used for automatic creation of Department, Updating the Department Security Tree and also for the automatic creation of Positions in PeopleSoft.

3.Worked on Smart HR transaction – created custom Smart HR Transaction template to hire Employees / Contingent Workers in PeopleSoft.

4.Created the Property Return & Intimation module from scratch – The Property return module will be used by the employees to declare their property investments Immovable and Movable. It also includes the generation of reports using BIPublisher / XMLPublisher.

5.Created the GPF (General Provident Fund) module from scratch – The functionality includes

a)Creating GPF enrollment functionality for Employees, which also includes adding

Nominations for GPF.

b)Implementing functionality for GPF withdrawal in case of Retirement / death of employee.

c)Implementing functionality for GPF advance and final withdrawal.

d)Implementing AWE for all the above functionalities.

The GPF module will also interact with the custom Bill Generation Module for the generation of Bills.

6.Created the Loans & Advances module from scratch – The module covers the functionality

a) Employee can tale Loans & Advances for several type of available loans type like –

Motor Car Advance, Personal Computer Advance, Moto Scooter Advance, House Building

Advance, Festival Advance, Advance of Pay on Transfer etc.

b) Employee can also take loans for HBA (House Building Advance).

c) Implemented AWE Approval for all the types of loans. Once the request will be approved,

the loans / Advances will be given to the Employee.

The Loans & Advances module will interact with the custom Bill generation module.

7.Created the custom Bill Generation Module – This module will be used to generate the bills . This module also interacts with the Payroll module.

8.Working as Team Lead for the team of 9 members – the role includes - Helping team members in completing their task whenever required. Coordinated with the team members in arranging KT for the new joiners and for interns.

My Experience and Work during the Project:

1. Monitor the Production issue tickets for custom GSS module, analyze the issue and provide the resolution to the Users. GSS module includes MSS and CSS transactions.

2. Doing bug fixes and Minor Enhancements which includes:

a) Doing complete code analysis.

b) Lock the objects to modify using STAT.

c) Creating Change Control for the issue.

d) Modifying the code in Development environment.

e) Testing the code in development environment. Code modification reviewed on 2 levels.

f) After final approval for production, code migrated to production.

3. Resolved bugs in Component Interface, Application package PeopleCode, Page activate PeopleCode, Record PeopleCode.

The project was about upgradation from PeopleSoft version 8.4 & 8.9 to 9.1, re-implementation and development.

Technology: Oracle PeopleSoft (Financial Module). Worked on Application Designer Tools Version 8.51 and PIA Version 8.4, 8.9, and 9.1.

My Experience and Work during the Project:

Requirement Gathering Phase:

1.Analysis of Compare Report’s objects (Records, CI, App Engine, Application Package), SQR & their PeopleCode and came up with the User requirements which were part of Technical Fit-gap analysis.

2.Worked on preparing Configuration Document and harmonizing Data along with Functional Team. Analysis of the new requirements as part of development.

Development Phase:

1.Preparing Solution Specific Documents out of Business Specific Documents, which include all technical details related to particular business requirement.

2.AWE Setup & Configuration in 9.1 instances. Approval authorization setup for 18*2 Business Units for Requisition & Purchase Order.

3.Prepared a Tool by modifying the delivered ExceltoCI to load data for Approval Authorization Setup at once for all Business Units for Requisition and Purchase Order.

4.Requirement related Customization in existing objects (Pages, Records, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, and Approval Workflow).

5.Developed new Application Engine and modified AWE Workflow’s Fiscal Approval routings by customizing the delivered Application Package as part of new requirements.

Testing Phase:

1.Created UTR, which includes documentation of the complete testing along with the screenshots of each step.

2.Functional testing for Workflow for E-pro and Purchasing, which includes Step-by-Step documentation of each step.

3.Performance testing for E-Pro and purchasing module with Workflow Approval Required.

4.Resolved technical issues during Open Data migration from 8.9, 8.4 to 9.1 instances due to data miss in records during migration. Debugging the technical and functional issue which arises during testing phase.
