Lead Industrial Designer

Leadership role for the industrial design initiative of this multi-million dollar electronic cigarette manufacturer and online retailer.

Designed and developed multiple product solutions and proprietary designs leading to patentable intellectual property for both in-house and OEM brands.

This position has required the full understanding of the e-cigarette and vaporizer market as well as customer usability studies and the discovery of new technologies to find opportunities for growth in this virgin industry.

Developed a full understanding of various product packaging methods and materials for both tangible products and consumables.

Worked in conjunction with domestic marketing and international engineering departments to apply new technologies for product development and successful new product launch.

Developed Bluetooth enabled device and APP for smartphones using Agile, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create all assets and layout UX/UI architecture.

Conducted interviews and research with patients of diabetic testing instruments.

Evaluated patient accounts of testing equipment to derive possible solutions for next generation products.
