Students Counselling Society

Tutor

February 2012 – Present

As a counsellor my duties are to help our junior student regarding studies and regularly teach some topics from course book which the instructor deems necessary. During the tenure I taught Mechanics of Machines, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics. IUSE Schools of Engineering and Management Sciences. Intern (Lab Engineer)

June 2013 - July 2013

As a Lab Engineer, my responsibilities were to devise the manuals for Engineering Statics lab and plan their execution throughout the semester.

Haidri Beverages (Pvt) Ltd (A Franchise of PepsiCo Inc.) Intern

July 2014 - August 2014

During the 04 weeks of my time at Haidri Beverages, I had the opportunity to witness and experience some of the typical systems related to mechanical engineering i.e. compressors, boilers, heat transferring shell and tube heat exchangers, plate heat exchangers, bottling units, canning units etc. I also came to know about the chemical side of the industry i.e. the chemistry of water purification, making of syrup for beverages, bottling materials etc. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA Engineering Karachi) Intern

18th August 2014 - 31st August 2014

During the 02 weeks at one of the largest industries in Pakistan, I experienced working within protocols and doing everything by the book, according to manuals. I also had experience with various models of turbofan engines (CF6-80C2, CFM56 etc) by different manufacturers like general electric and CFM. I also had the opportunity to study the fuselage and witness the mechanism that enable the three dimensional movement of an aircraft.
