• Contractor Services Providing customer support primarily to Velocity Development Group clients located in New Jersey. Services include all functions performed while an employee of Velocity, but now on a contract hourly basis. VELOCITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP, LLC, AMESBURY MA – a provider of business and Information technology consulting services Senior Systems Analyst – Provided ERP support to various manufacturing customers February 2011 to September 2014 Certified as an Epicor Senior Consultant in Tools category through version 9.05, including Product Configurator and Service Connect.

• Implementation of ERP software, specifically the Epicor 9 package written by Epicor. Certified as Senior Epicor consultant in Tools category and Epicor Product Configurator; Certified as Associate Epicor consultant in Financial, Manufacturing, and Distribution categories.

• Customization of ERP software, specifically Epicor 9 written by Epicor, and SyteLine 6 written by Infor. Epicor 9 customization includes integrated package customizations and personalizations as well as new C# programming.

• Implementation of PlanetPress form-printing application on legacy systems to provide graphic form printing on laser and thermal printers. Work included notification by email to various internal personnel when specific functions are implemented, customized thermal customer-branded item package labels dependent upon the customer, and dynamic routing of output. BEL-ART PRODUCTS, INC., PEQUANNOCK NJ – a manufacturer of plastic equipment for the science lab and medical supply industries Director of Network Services, Directory of IT – Provided leadership to IT staff in New Jersey and Maryland September 1996 to November 2010 Responsible for servicing four facilities in three states (New Jersey, Maryland, Missouri). Four IT staff members based in New Jersey, two staff members based in Maryland. Responsible for maintaining IT functions and managing the staff in all locations, as well as developing new tools/functions to increase employee productivity and trim corporation costs. This included connectivity between the four locations, as well as between two additional locations of a partially-owned subsidiary in Maryland and Texas. • Implemented an Internet-based EDI interface that accounted for $250K (or 70%) of weekly sales orders.

• Saved $6K monthly by migrating from Frame Relay to MPLS and moving to a full Windows Active Directory environment in 2005. Boosted staff productivity by implementing Citrix to alleviate network congestion when multiple instances of the ERP software were executed.

• Minimized physical equipment needs, lowered monthly operational costs, and provided a strong disaster recovery solution by developing a plan to implement a VMWare server farm with SAN in two sites.

• Played a key role in implementing new ERP Symix software to replace a 20-year-old, homegrown system, including writing data conversion programs; configured new UNIX servers for the Symix application.

• Implementation of PlanetPress form-printing application on the legacy and ERP systems. Work included but not limited to graphic form and label printing on laser and thermal printers, accounts payable checks printed with proper OCR fonts, automated archiving to document-imaging of all printed/emailed/faxed documents, and internal email notifications triggered based on functions implemented

• Designed and implemented a new intranet website to simplify a variety of company functions, including: ASP programming to allow department managers to locally print various HR documents; Perl and VB programs to automatically track new requests for computer-related projects and trouble tickets for the IT department, automatically notify the requester of any progress via e-mail, and allow department managers to input new-hire information, which would then notify various departments of certain requirements via e-mail; An electronic dynamic version of the corporate newsletter; Online help for office products, SCO UNIX, and the Symix application.

• Designed and implemented new Internet websites for the company and two subsidiaries that featured dynamic content and extrapolated data from an SQL server for catalog product information, job postings, a distributor directory, featured products, directions to office locations, and date- sensitive advertisements and promotions. Project scope included: Installation of SQL Web Server for dynamic content with links to the internal ERP application server to share data; Creation of a VB utility program (with links to NT security to restrict access), allowing company personnel to maintain only the SQL database data for which they were responsible.

• Designed and implemented a full 200-user Frame Relay WAN overhaul at five sites in four states over the last five months of 1999 to achieve Y2K compliance and minimize receivership risks. Project scope included: Migration from a Netware environment to a Windows NT environment and from a non-compliant version of DG-UX to SCO OpenServer 5; Replacement of non-compliant servers and workstations; Implementation of Cisco VoIP routers (to replace multiplexers, routers, and voice converters) as well as true T1 Internet access; Upgrade of all network wiring to CAT-5 specifications; Installation of a fiber optic backbone; Migration from cc:Mail to an SMTP-compliant system.
