I help users configure their settings post migration, export and import contacts, PST, OST files, and all user data. I also provide basic education on Outlook functionality. I set up exchange on mobile devices IPhone, android, and tablets to sync data with desktop PC’s. I Support administrative users in delegate access, calendar functionality, and use of MS link for office purposes. I also work with the PC refresh group imaging computers using a MDT server, configure user settings and import data back to original format for user functionality and install all applications using the Altiris server. As a desktop support engineer at the NEC production plant in Roseville my duties were to take incoming calls for computer related issues in the fabrication plant, as well as users in their offices, and home users using VPN. We also supported password resets and application issues for multiple sites. My day to day job consisted of computer imaging of laptops, desktops, and ascots using an Altiris server of data management. If there was an application or hardware issue in the fab I had to put on a clean room suite in order to fix the problem. Also I had timed server operations and we used an application called smart for server and database monitoring. I done backups and also repaired citix issues.
