PAST EXPERIENCE:
October 19, 2012 – Current
Since October 19, 2012, I have been working at Tenneco Automotive located at 1490 Gerber St Ligonier, IN 46767; I started as a machine operator became a Team Leader and then became a Supervisor. While I was Team leader I obtained my fork lift license to help the team meet our customer demand and hourly rate. My responsibilities as a Supervisor have included making sure the standardized work instructions are being followed, making sure that all team members are working safely and wearing all of their personal protection equipment. Directing my team in meeting customer demand by evaluating their performances while following Tenneco’s policies and procedures to ensure good quality parts are being produced. Adjusting the production schedule to meet shipments for our customer demand.
September 1, 2005 – October 15, 2012
Since September 1, 2005, I have been working at the Auburn Insurance Center as an insurance agent located at 106N Cedar St Auburn, IN 46706. The majority of my responsibilities have included servicing client’s needs and marketing to new prospective clients through personal contact and referrals. My experience in building relationships with these clients led me to increase my client base.
July 1987 – July 2005
I was with Farm Bureau Insurance as an insurance agent in Albion,
IN. The majority of my responsibilities included servicing current
Client’s needs and marketing with new prospective clients.
Farm Bureau Insurance has a 2% growth requirement per year per
agent, which I exceeded with an average 8% growth rate each year
for a total of 107% increase from 1987 to 2005.
I have been actively involved with insuring my client’s homes,
farms, automobiles, life, disability income, retirement concerns
and commercial insurance needs. My activities have included
interpreting policy coverage’s to advise clients on claims as
well as to determine the correct amount of insurance and the
appropriate policy for them.
July 1984- July 1987
After being honorably discharged from the United States
Marine Corps, I started with Pizza Hut in Fort Wayne, IN.
in their management program. I was transferred to the Kendallville
Pizza Hut in 1985 and promoted to Operations Manager.
My responsibilities included payroll, scheduling, ordering,
interviewing, training, daily, weekly and annual paperwork
with setting goals for the year.
July 1980- July 1984
After graduating from High School, I enlisted in the United
States Marine Corps. I was meritoriously promoted from
Private to Sergeant and was responsible for 80 Marines in a
Communications platoon.

State of Indiana Property and Casualty insurance license, State of
Indiana Life and Health license, Long Term Care Insurance Certified.
CONSTRUCTION & ELECTRICAL:
I have worked over many years on home improvement and
renovations in several homes. I apprenticed under a Civil
Engineer & an Electronic Engineer Technologist.
Among some of my achievements were building an attached garage,
including putting in the foundation, building the walls, roof, shingles
and installing the electrical wiring. I have installed wiring in an
existing home both with 110 and 220. I have also done a complete
renovation of a bathroom from the floor joist and studs to new shower,
tub, sink, plumbing, wiring & drywall. I have also installed ceramic
tiles.
I just completed rewiring a home in LaGrange and installing
insulation, drywall, ceiling tile, carpeting, and new plumbing.
CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS:
I am the past Secretary for Cromwell Masonic Lodge, a member of the
MIZPAH Shrine, Scottish Rite, & Eastern Star. I was Past President
of the Noble Area Soccer Association, Past member on Junior
Achievement Board of Directors, Past Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack
3512, and Past Recruitment Chairman for the Pokagon Boy Scouts of
America District.
