Summary
** **** *** ******* *********** from Galicia (Spain) seeking employment as a (trilingual) proofreader, copyeditor and/or translator. I am a native speaker of both Spanish & Galician, which makes me able to read Portuguese as well, and I also speak English (C2 level), French
(B2) and Spanish Sign Language (A2). As my three years abroad (two in Finland and the USA as an undergraduate student, one in New Zealand as a language assistant and instructor) show, I am willing to relocate and have no problem adapting to new environments. Last year I completed an internship at the Supercomputing Center of Galicia, where I carried out translation, proofreading and dissemination tasks as part of the Master's in Applied Linguistics that I am currently studying. I have also been an ESL instructor and, since June of 2013, I volunteer as a proofreader/translator/editor for a fanzine and a blog. Currently, I am a translation intern for New York Habitat.
