The Home Depot/ Front End Supervisor Feb. 2010-Present

Front End supervisors train, coach and develop cashiers to ensure customers receive outstanding and quick checkout service to customers at our registers. This is achieved by ensuring the efficient operation of the registers, influencing and supporting the cashier team, expediting price checks and identifying high shrink items. This position also involves assisting the supervision and training of cashiers, taking over cashier duties as needed and maintenance duties. Front End supervisors also support cashier development and accuracy by utilizing various tools.

Ensure that all store cash and accounting transactions occur on time and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures using state of the art computing financial technologies.

Provide cash management administration, accounting transactions and financial reporting for the store. Responsible for the daily processing and reporting of all sales and other related financial and managerial records to include auditing.

Administrative Services account reporting, ensuring state of the art computer hardware/software used in the store is functioning. Inputting critical data information into the computer system, administering the maintenance, security ID administration, system trouble shooting, routine systems backups and other administrative tasks.

The Home Depot / Installation Expeditor Sept 2001- Aug 2008

Expeditor are primarily responsible for the timely and accurate fulfillment of all special order and installation projects from the initial sale through project completion; ensuring customer satisfaction.

The Expeditor proactivley contacts the Customers to keep them informed of the status of the install, any preparation required for install, and any other information regarding the order (e.g., time of installation).

The Expeditor also reacts to Customer calls when there are questions and concerns with installations. The Expeditor initiates contact with the Vendors and Service Providers in order to establish shipment and installation dates, enquires about in-stocks, product receipts and place any re-orders and order updates.

Expeditors will interact with vendors, installers, associates in the store, trucking/shipping companies and the customers to ensure that excellent customer service in achieved.
