Conducted campus recruitment at University of Illinois, interviewed 14 applicants for Hormel Foods, and completed the Hormel Foods’ interview training seminar.
Managed up to 70 workers and 7 production lines in the largest production department for Hormel Foods in Osceola, IA. Managed all administrative duties to include: weekly payroll, employee training, safety training, performance evaluation, & continuous improvement projects. Initiated a supply waste reduction project that was on track to save over $30,000 in 2014, exceeding the fiscal year 2012 savings by more than $17,000.
Maintained or exceeded: the company’s safety rating, quality standards, efficiency goals, and production goals.
Developed a rotating roster that ensured zero ergonomic injuries or lost time injuries throughout 22 months.

US Army, 3rd Infantry Division, Ft. Stewart, GA May 2008 – May 2011
Ranked by the Battalion Commander as the Top Infantry Officer in my Battalion upon completing a one-year combat tour to Kirkuk, Iraq.
Led a team of 44 members on more than 250 operations in a twelve-month period, resulting in zero injury incidents to personnel or damage to equipment and mitigated all aspects of risk through deliberate planning, preparation, and execution.
Maintained the operational readiness of all operation equipment, technology, and maintenance of 6 vehicles.
Reduced attacks by over 40% by collaborating with in-country partners resulting in the lowest level of violence in 11 years.
Initiated 4 micro grant projects that were approved in 2 districts of Kirkuk, Iraq to fund businesses adversely affected by conflict.
