Responsibilities
Event coordinators control an event from conception to clean up. I worked
with counselors & crew leaders to work out & plan event details, scout and
book locations, food, entertainment, staff and cleanup. Event coordinators
make sure the food & entertainment stays on schedule, organized, together &
everything runs smoothly. I created budgets and stick to them, as well as
organize transportation, hire and wrangle keynote speakers, hire A/V teams
and equipment, and generally make sure the event runs smoothly, efficiently
and handle any crisis that may come up.
Accomplishments
As an event coordinator I have a love for special event management, provide
outstanding customer service, enthusiastic professionalism, and am able to
build relationships with internal and external customers.

I used my excellent communication skills while staying calm under pressure.
As an event planner I rely on my computer skills to communicate, plan, budget
and organize events. I stayed focused and organized so that the events go off
without a hitch dealing with any problems that arise quickly & effectively.
I am also able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet
deadlines with little supervision.

Responsibilities
As a food server I took menu orders from customers and promptly served
them. My responsibilities include addressing any customer questions,
concerns or complaints. I might also be asked to explain menu items or
food and beverage specials. My duties also included calculating
customers' food bills and collecting payments, set up tables and clean
tables after customers leave. I also acted as hostesses, greeting and
seating customers and also providing them with menus, taking beverage
orders that might include alcohol, making sure that I verify that the
customer is of age.
Accomplishments
I created an exceptional
dining experience for all our guests. I made each guest feel comfortable
so that they will want too return again and again.
