Business Analyst and Functional Design Automated Eligibility Software

Contracted to Accenture for work in Norwalk, CA. The original task was to design documents for the description of pages in an 800 page web application and the only Cayuse team member tasked with completing a System Process Design (SPD) document for a functional area of the program. This duty required interaction with the client’s client and creating agreements from several different client teams while maintaining the integrity of the base application. After completing the SPD on time, the position evolved into the maintenance Function Design team, which solutions new requirements and resolves design conflicts with the client’s client, the development team, and project management.

The Resource Database (RDB) SPD is the collection of all providers of services, schools, and employers. The RDB is a central piece in the application that provides the business information to the fiscal team, Service and Activity information to the Client’s Clients employees for assignment to their customers, and licensing information to the auditing teams. The challenge was gaining agreement from various stake holders that have different requirements and needs. The accomplishment of this task is attributed to the ability to create a working relationship with the stake holders, find similarities in the requirements, and propose solutions that create a win for every team.
