Topic: Modern Advancement in Electrostatic Precipitator.

Discription:

Modern advancement in ESP,in that moving electrode type electrostatic

precipitator(MEEP) is use for the purpose of continuously removing dust

particle which laden on the collecting plate by theire rotating brushes.

According to the field test at an existing MEEP for coal fired boiler,the collection efficiency of the moving electrode section improved by pulse energization of the inlet section.The combined type ESP decreses 50% of the collection area,60% of power consumption and 20% of initial cost as compared to conventional ESP.
