Report to the President and have led all aspects of the finance function for 14 years as the company’s revenues and profits have increased over 300% through expansion of operations to Europe and Asia. Company has evolved from a small domestic company providing incentive compensation outsourcing services exclusively to the pharmaceutical industry to a global provider of sales performance management SaaS software and professional services to multi-national companies in many industries.

Created strategic plans and partnered with the President to present plans to potential investors and lenders. Closed on A and B financing rounds totaling $7.5 million to finance investments in software and infrastructure. Negotiated loan agreements with various lenders and banks which enabled an early exit from venture agreements and resulted in the founding shareholders maintaining 100% ownership. The refinancing ultimately reduced cost of capital to 3% and positioned the company to successfully repay all debt during 2013 as scheduled.

Partnered with President to obtain $2 million in Pennsylvania grants and tax credits

Led complex lease negotiations which resulted in an amendment to a disputed lease that reduced rent by $1.9 million through a gross lease with a 24% lower rental rate and fixed 3% annual increases over ten years

Generated $1.5 million of cash flow by streamlining the customer contract-to-cash process and eliminating constraints which delayed invoices

Developed strategic plans, annual operating and capital budgets and rolling monthly forecasts to facilitate timely revisions to business plans

Worked with general counsel and sales to close contracts with prospective customers

Designed and implemented a new customer contract management, forecasting, invoicing and SaaS revenue recognition system and two cloud software systems (payroll and accounting)

Slashed administrative costs by migrating basic accounting functions to an affiliate in India

Led risk management including maintenance of adequate insurance to cover exposures to business interruption, errors and omissions, and data center cyber risks
