- Research in 5.9 GHz Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) technology

Developed and implemented a DSRC based traffic information system using vehicle to vehicle

communication at congestion which caused by wor k-zone or rush hours, providing DSRC-

equipped vehicles useful traffic data or advanced warnings, so that they can dynamically re-route,

as well as improve driver’s situational awareness which ultimately, can reduce the rear -end

collision. The system operates either in single-ad-hoc-host mode or later turns to multiple-ad-hoc-

host mode for frequent acquisition and dissemination of traffic information.

- Lab instructor - Modern Communications and Electrical Circuit Analysis

Prepared and delivered two-section experiments conducted by students. Graded their homework

and lab reports weekly. Also helped students analyze their problems with Matlab simulation

during office hours.
