JP Morgan Chase bank is one of the nation's largest bank-based financial services companies The goal of the project was to ensure JPMC Paymentech complies with all of the JPMC BASEL III compliance. Paymentech needed to streamline and integrate Legal Entity and Liquidity risk with that of JPMC. Once the Legal Entity and the Liquidity risks were defined it was then consolidated with all of the other JPMC LOB. The company needed to develop a central depositary system to transfer all the data of JPMC LOB and Paymentech to one location. Part of the process was to take the existing architecture and add additional semantic layers to comply with regulations
Responsibilities
Extensively worked in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Agile deliverables. Primary point of contact as Product Owner for the lifecycle Settlement testing/specifications/change controls.
Delivered support or ensure suitable escalation on Business issues for the SWIFT conversion and upgrade to trading system.
Assessed the flaws in the existing as-is Underwriting system and made clear recommendations of Business Process Improvements and incorporated them in the future to-be system design.
Developed Detailed Business Requirements documents (BRD),Business Requirement writings and assessment of Basel III on JPMC Paymentech
Made Screen Mockups/Definitions and Dependencies using Excel and Documented the Requirements.
Developed Use Case diagrams, business flow diagrams, and Activity/State diagrams using Rational Rose so that developers and other stakeholders can understand the business process.
Coordinated JAD sessions to understand the user requirements and also their system’s implementation. Gained knowledge of compliance with GAAP. Also developed Data standards to be compliant with Basel III.
