CTO and Plant Manager for a new biomass renewable energy project. Completing design, permitting and financing acquisition. Currently finishing final plant design with a startup goal of late 2016. This will be the first base-load biomass renewable energy project in the region.

Distillery Manager 2012-2014
Developed and directed $25M projects to revamp distillery operations, add a propane storage and use facility and produce our own CHP power to save $10M/year with zero injuries.
Identified and developed a truly transformational project that will save $10M/yr, is a note-worthy environmental story and great for the community.
Embedded Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing practices for distillery operations, leading to ISO accreditation in 2014. Embedded TQM, GMP, 5S and HACCP.
Developed new fermentation procedures to achieve 30% higher ABV yields vs. plant design

Certified Quality Engineer 1989- 1991
Helped develop a new process for disposing of Ferrous Chloride, which was either being land-filled or dumped into the ocean. Both of these disposal methods were very sensitive subjects with mixed results for the environment. We developed a process to convert the waste to Ferric Chloride, which we sold to water treatment plants as a coagulant. This process saved DuPont about $45M/year, yielded a zero-waste plant, helped protect the ground water supplies and the ocean from potentially hazardous wastes. I take great pride in this accomplishment.
Managed customer relations and quality management for a $1.5B manufacturing division.
Developed and implemented a business-wide product quality management program.
Trained 100 people in statistical quality control and TQM.
Established new quality standards, improved overall quality by 100% and reduced standard deviations by 200%.
