Job Description
Collects and examined clinical specimen from patients to help the physician in their diagnosis.
Goes out collects blood, urine samples for annual examinations of employees from different companies (medical field).
Study cells and other tissues to determined their relation to various physiological and pathological conditions.
Do chemistry procedures on blood chemistry analysis e.g.: manual, semi-automated or automated.
Conduct chemistry analysis on blood, urine and other body fluids.
Performs after care of laboratory equipment, responsible for the maintenance of laboratory equipments.
Records all laboratory results after typing them.
Helps clinical nurse during annual medical field in getting vital signs e.g.: blood pressure, height, weight, and pulse rate.
Performs additional task that may be assigned by the Pathologist.
Clinical Microscopy-urinalysis, fecalysis, pregnancy test, drug test, occult blood.
Clinical Chemistry- Routine Blood Chemistry.
Hematology-complete blood count, platelet count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
