Software Developer and Instructor- Intern, Sandbox4kids March 2015 - May 2015

Built a website from scratch for the school using HTML (UI).

Taught kids and introduced them to the basics of programming with the help of software’s such as kodu game lab, Lego education, scratch, Minecraft, 3d printing.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Mobile App for Government: Developed an App for the government using J2ME and MySQL, wherein user could enter information regarding development and repairs of roads, houses, hospitals, birth/death of an individual, which was stored in MySQL. This helped the government have their records updated regularly in an efficient manner.

Big Data project: 10 Million songs were downloaded from Labrosa website, which was 280 GB in size and the entire data was stored on the Hadoop cluster . Map reduce was used based on key value pairs to find album count, top songs, song hotness, and top albums.

Data Communication and network: Built a chat application with a client/server model using java. The concept of socket programming was implemented in which socket classes were used to represent a connection between a client and server programs.

Google Glass: Developed functional application called Med Base which is based on healthcare domain.
