WORK EXPERIENCE: Berger Engineering Company Dallas, Texas

Project Manager Assistant 08/29/11 to Present

Duties:

Receive contracts, review contracts, make necessary mark-ups before

turning over to Executive Vice President for review and final

amendments. Get signed contracts back to General Contractor.

Maintain contract log.

Request and receive payment and performance bonds if General

Contractor is responsible or request bonds from Surety agency if we are

responsible per the contract. Send out Notice of Right to Lien letters to

job owners, general contractors, and bonding companies for each job.

Accountable for providing Project Manager support throughout each job’s

time span.

Responsible for getting change order requests out to the General

Contractor and receiving corresponding change orders in a timely

manner.

Prepare monthly payment applications through Timberline.

Keep sets of drawings current with amended drawings throughout the

project with both electronic and hard copies.

Per my request - travel to jobsites keeping Superintendents’ drawings up

to date and making sure they have the most recent submittals.

Daily communication with the General Contractors, Subcontractors and

Vendors making sure equipment is being routed and delivered where

and when it should be.

Request and receive permits and inspections with city/state of each job.

Make sure flight/housing accommodations are made for Project Manager

and Superintendents and request any changes as needed during their

jobsite visit.

Request and receive closeout documents from Subcontractors and get to

General Contractor on time or before requested date.

Hawkins Construction, Inc. Addison, Texas

Project Administrator 06/10/09 to 08/08/11

Duties:

Report directly to Vice President.

Assist Director of Business Development with internet research, client

relationships, daily organization, and travel itinerary.

Support Human Resource department with new hire and personnel

documents, often of a confidential and secure nature.

Set up new office including implementing file system. Negotiated terms

of HVAC Maintenance contract, dumpster contract, office utilities and

office furniture.

Utilize Powerpoint to put together weekly project progress reports.

Maintain submittal, modification, change order proposal, and change

order logs using Excel.

Assist Accounting department and Project Manager Assistant’s chasing

closeout documents such as Subcontractor warranty letters, vendor

warranties, O & M Manuals, w-9’s, and insurance certificates.

W ork daily with Project Manager’s. Set up utilities and assist with

various permits and inspections at each project site.

Correspond with Subcontractor’s on a daily basis ensuring pay

applications, affidavits, and lien releases are accurate and timely.

Read and analyze incoming mail, submittals, and legal documents to

distribute to appropriate personnel.

Office Manager 10/01/07 to 02/27/09

Duties:

Report directly to Vice President.

Coordinate and negotiate terms of office trailers on project sites. Set up

utilities and assist with various permits at each project site.

Create and update contract logs using Excel spreadsheet.

Contact subcontractors to obtain status and expedite return of executed

AIA contracts, certificates of insurance, w-9’s, etc.

Assist Chief Estimator with bid document assembly, attend bids, and

contact bidders.

Notarize necessary documents.

Responsible for contract administration, work closely with Project

Manager’s and Superintendent’s.

Duties:

W ork directly with Contract Administrator assembling AIA contracts,

maintain contract and correspondence files.

File RFI’s, put daily reports into Project Talk and file.

Correspond with subcontractors on a daily basis.

Schedule events of up to 300 people, meet and greet dignitaries and

visitors, schedule tours of the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

Coordinate with drug testing and background inquiry company and

crane inspections, hot work permits, excavation permits, Job Hazard
