INTRODUCTION:

I thank you for your time and consideration of my credentials. My national annual pay scale is between $40,000-$105,000. But this is negotiable. Whatever your budget will allow is usually acceptable.

I have 35+ years experience in the Designer Profession. I can draw anything for anyone, using my judgment and skill. I can tailor the work to the reader and please any customer who will work with me in communicating their needs and the needs of their customers.

For 22+ of those 35+ years, I have proficiently used a wide variety of CAD software to perform my labors and 11+ of those years were performed in the role of Project Engineer/Manager/Coordinator and Liason between operations and management, solving production problems and enhancing the bottom line of my customers.

I am heavily experienced at doing multi-million dollar capital improvement projects, working with executives, customers, administrators and team members, from concept to closure, and I have completed my projects, on time and under budget using whatever project management software you commonly use and I am willing and capable of learning new and constantly improving my skills with some help or on the job training from my fellow team members as needed.

I am well trained to do work in the lean manufacturing world of 5-S, 6-S, 6-Sigma, TPM, TPS, PES, TQM, JIT, TAKT TIME,Take 2, Stop, OSHA, Human Performance, Zapp. I work well with the members of Facilities Engineering Teams, Contractors and Labor to get the job done, safely, quickly and within the approved scope & budget targets set for each project. I also possess a good sense of urgency in pursuit of personal and customer objectives.

Relocation and per diem help is appreciated, but for the right match of future objectives, I am willing to do it by myself. * A.I.D.D. National Drafting Contest Award Winner (1977).

* Saved Parker Hannifin $16,000 in tooling costs by adapting 1 injection mold to produce 3 coils.

* Designed new rear cab support brackets for Volvo-GM chassis mounted cement mixer trucks.

* Primary producer of working RV furnace prototypes for the Hydro-Flame "Excalibur" line of furnaces as well as principle management, design & production for all quality assurance tooling.

* Principle designer on a team responsible for installation of a 600 ft. long, ABS plastic pipeline, which worked on the 1st try and significantly exceeded production requirements.

* Principle designer for updating all ATK plant maps and played a key role in establishing CADD standards.

* Produced all drawings for 5 boiler houses at ATK that saved the US Navy many thousands of dollars by converting their heating systems from Steam to Hot Water.

* Produced over 440 drawings in 10 months at Tetra Tech associated with refinery and transcontinental pipelines.
